I have returned home from University A State Away. Yesterday was spent in the Musical City and BG with Gamer Guy. I got to see Fiction Writing Professor one more time before she moves back home out west.
When we got back to Gamer Guy's house, he laid down with me on the bed for a little while and we talked. After a few minutes of silence, he promptly fell asleep on my shoulder. So I held him for a little bit before I woke him up and sent him to get some rest. Seven hours of driving before the trip to BG hadn't done me any favors, either.
The program came to a nice close. German Film Professor wants me to come back, and to go with him and a group of students on a short study trip to Munich this January. If I could set up an independent study with the university to get the last bit of German credit I need (said study potentially involving the interviewing of a filmmaker or two -- a definite plus), then I will probably take him up on the offer.
Anyway. I'm tired again tonight after driving home from the Musical City. I haven't even really unpacked anything yet, except for the laptop and putting the bag of dirty clothes in the laundry room. I guess progress is progress.
