Playing with Index Cards

I've been playing with index cards for the last day or two. I usually don't have much use for them, to be entirely honest.

But I've recently purchased a package of white index cards and a package of index cards in multiple colors. The goal of this exercise is not excessively complex. One uses the cards to write down scenes from one's screenplay that one is writing. Each card is for a scene or segment of the film. One uses the different colors for different kinds of scenes. Blue is for the major plot points. Red is for the relationship subplot. Green is for the work subplot. Yellow is for the comic relief that this film idea desperately needs. All the rest of the cards are white.

Ultimately, the goal is to tape the cards on the wall in a layout that will make sense and allow me to see the whole thing as it stands. I've got this partially constructed. When I get it finished, I'll have to post a picture of it, so that readers might see the great eccentricities of would-be and yet doesn't-know-if-she-really-wants-to-be screenwriter.
