So, my first few days of being 21 have been mostly uneventful. I have not been carded for anything except for almost getting carded at the Store We All Hate To Go To But Sometimes Can't Avoid It while trying to buy an R-rated movie for Roommate for her birthday. Go figure. Imagine the somewhat overly made up middle aged lady coming over to me and announcing, "You have to be 17 to buy that!" I had to threaten to show her my drivers license before she would leave me alone.
But tomorrow morning I am off for a small excursion to The Lake, and then on to the Musical City on Sunday to see Gamer Guy and his mother, who just had foot surgery today but is apparently doing quite well.
No one in BG is answering my emails or phone calls about my potential studying in the winter with German Film Professor in Munich. I only need to get the issue sorted out before the semester starts, but it seems nobody is around. And German Professor is not answering her emails either. I guess I've done something she's not kosher with.
Oh well. I'm not going to think about it for the next few days.
