I Suck

I took another practice GRE today. A different one. And my score didn't change. Not one point. I think I'm in for it.

On a lighter note, the leftover rash seems to be finally going away from where I broke out in hives while in the boat on Saturday for no apparent reason. That was fun. I went back to the house only to find that Dad and Stepmom did not see fit to stock any Benadryl at The Lake. So I took a very cold shower while Dark-Haired Grandmother went to a local store to find some. I took that when she got back. The shower had made me so cold I was shivering like crazy. I went upstairs and crawled into my bed under the covers. I was still shaking so bad when Gamer Guy came in that he got another quilt to put over me and laid down beside me until I fell asleep and was apparently out for an hour and a half or so. But the little leftover bumps seem to finally be disappearing.

To make matters worse, I was also informed today that, since German Professor is on sabbatical, there's just no one on campus to "supervise" a potential winter term abroad experience with German Film Professor through University A State Away. It looks like GP manages to screw me over even when she's out of the country. Sigh.

Sorry. It hasn't been the best day -- or weekend, for that matter.
